Go-ride sessions for the younger riders start again in the spring of 2018 at 6pm with signing on from 5-45pm. The date will be confirmed shortly.

Go-ride sessions last approximately 1 hour in duration and they run every week throughout the spring, summer and autumn months at the Stourport track, weather permitting!

The Go-Ride sessions are for young riders who would like to improve their cycling skills and are held at the Stourport Sports club cycle track and start promptly at 6-00pm.

The Friday sessions will be split into groups of ability with a sessions for intermediate and advanced youth riders following on from 7-00pm, but initially, all riders will start at 6-00pm until they move up to the next session.

These sessions are open to everyone but all riders must bring a cycle in good working order and must wear a helmet. Parental consent is required with forms available at the start of the session. Charges are 3-00 for non members and 1-00 for members.

Go-ride coaches are Richard Pedersen, Chris Edwards and Jon Howard, and the welfare officers are Paul Gibson and Lucy Walters.

Go Ride Racing

Wyre Forest CRC will be running Go-Ride Racing events for novice riders at the Stourport circuit in 2018.

The dates will announced here when they are confirmed.

Signing on is from 6-00pm and the racing starts at 6-30pm prompt.

The races are split into age categories for U8, U10, U12, U14, U16 and each rider get to enter in 3 races, a short time trial, a scratch race and a handicap race.

Entry is on the day and costs 3-00 per rider and please note that there is no advance entry for these events, and they will be held in place of the regular Friday Go-ride sessions.

These events are for riders who would like to try competitive racing and who have had little or no racing experience before, so just come along and you will be very welcome to have a go at some entry level racing!
